The OnePlus 9 Pro is back down to a record low of $799

Android users who aren't interested in Samsung's latest smartphones should consider OnePlus' newest handsets. We gave the OnePlus 9 Pro a score of 88 and called it the company's best smartphone yet, and now you can get it for $270 less than usual. Both Amazon and OnePlus have the handset for $799, which is an all-time low.

Buy OnePlus 9 Pro at Amazon - $799Buy OnePlus 9 Pro at OnePlus - $799

As the "pro" moniker suggests, this model is the most powerful in OnePlus' lineup right now, featuring a Snapdragon 888 processor, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The sleek device is IP68-rated and has a 6.7-inch, 3,216 x 1,440 screen that has a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits.

OnePlus worked with Hasselblad to develop the camera on the 9 Pro, and it's much improved from the array on previous models. The rear setup features a 48MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide shooter and 8MP telephoto lens, and overall, it produces gorgeous photos. It's also able to shoot 8K video at 30fps.

On top of stellar performance, the OnePlus 9 Pro has a formidable battery life, too. Its 4,500 mAh dual batteries powered the smartphone for a full working day, even with the screen at the highest resolution. You're also getting one of the company's Warp Charge 65T power bricks with the handset, which can fully recharge the smartphone in about a half hour. This latest sale is one to consider if you want premium features in your next Android phone but want something a bit different than the latest Galaxies and Pixels of the world. And if you're on a tighter budget, the OnePlus 9 has also been discounted to $599.

Apple's 3rd-gen AirPods are down to $145 right now

Apple made a bunch of improvements to its latest AirPods last year, and now you can grab a pair for $35 less than usual. Woot has the third-generation AirPods for $145 right now, which is 19 percent off and close to their record low. The sale will last for 12 days or until sold out, and we expect them to sell out at this price fairly quickly. While anyone can get this deal, Amazon Prime members can get free shipping, too.

Buy AirPods (3rd gen) at Woot - $145

These buds mark the first true departure from the original AirPods design since the earbuds first came out. While the AirPods Pro have the best fit out of all of Apple's wireless earbuds, the third-gen AirPods are a big improvement from their predecessors. They have a new contoured design and a shorter stem, both of which help make the buds more comfortable and aid in sound quality. They're also IPX4-rated, so they should be able to withstand sweaty workouts and a quick, accidental splash.

The latest AirPods sound much better than the previous models thanks in part to a new custom driver and a high-dynamic-range amplifier. They work together to produce rich bass and crisp, clean sound overall. You won't find ANC on these buds, but they do have Adaptive EQ, spatial audio and dynamic head tracking.

The H1 chip inside of the buds helps power those features, along with hands-free Siri access and quick pairing. If you use a lot of Apple products the quick pairing and switching feature will come in handy, as it allows you to seamlessly go from listening to music on your Mac to taking a call from your iPhone. As far as battery life goes, you should get up to six hours with the buds and up to a total of 30 hours when using their charging case to power up in between sessions. As usual, be sure to check out Woot's return policy before deciding if you want to pick these up during this sale.

Google's Nest Thermostat is on sale for $93 right now

If you missed the sale last month on the Nest Thermostat, you have another chance to grab the smart home gadget for even less now. Amazon has the snow colored WiFi thermostat for $93, or 29 percent off its normal price. This isn't an all-time low — the device briefly dropped to $80 during Black Friday weekend last year — but this is the best price we've seen since then.

Buy Nest Thermostat at Amazon - $93

Google debuted the Nest Thermostat in 2020 as an affordable alternative to the Nest Learning Thermostat. You'll notice a big difference in the design of the two gadgets: the Nest Thermostat is slimmer than its Learning counterpart and has a mirrored display, along with a touch-sensitive bezel that you can use to manually adjust temperature settings. You could shell out more money for the higher-quality display and better materials in the Learning Thermostat, but ultimately both gadgets are designed to do the same thing: help you save money on energy costs.

The Nest Thermostat is Energy Star-certified and uses a feature called Savings Finder to learn about your home system and suggest ways to conserve energy. Using the Google Home app, you can create schedules for your home that optimize energy usage, like turning the temperature down when you're out of the house and turning it up when you come back. The app also lets you remotely control your home's environment, making it easy to adjust temperatures when you're away. And you can use Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa voice commands to adjust settings when you're home, too. An IoT gadget like this is a good one to build your smart home ecosystem around if you're new to the space, and a good one to add to an existing system if you already use a lot of Google devices.

Amazon's Eero Pro 6 mesh WiFi system is $80 off for Prime members

If you're looking for a way to improve your home WiFi setup, Amazon's Eero mesh systems could do the trick. The most advanced version you can get right now is the Eero Pro 6, which covers up to 2,000 square feet with one router and supports gigabit internet. Prime members can get a two-pack for $80 off, bringing the final price down to $319. It's not the record low that we saw during the holiday shopping season ($299), but it's the best price we've seen in the new year.

Buy Eero Pro 6 (2 pack) at Amazon - $319

Only the two-pack has this discount, but it should be enough for even large homes. With the router and the access point, you'll get up to 3,500 square feet of coverage, with gigabit speeds and support for WiFi 6.

Setting up the Eero Pro 6 should be quite simple — you only need to download the companion mobile app, plug the system in, and follow the prompts. In addition to improving your WiFi setup, the device also has a built-in Zigbee smart home hub, meaning you can connect compatible devices like lights, locks and more to it without buying a separate hub. And if they are Alexa-enabled gadgets, you'll be able to control them with your voice, too. If you already have a smart home system in place, the Zigbee feature many not be that appealing, but it will be handy for those that are just starting to bring IoT gadgets into their home.

Nintendo's Switch Lite is $10 off for Prime members

Woot's following up its Xbox sale from a few days ago with a Prime-exclusive deal on the Nintendo Switch Lite. Prime members can get $10 off the handheld console, bringing it down to $190. You'll have to sign in with your Prime account credentials before you can add the Switch Lite to your cart and see the discount automatically applied at checkout.

Buy Nintendo Switch Lite at Woot - $190

While it's a modest discount, $10 off is still a good deal, particularly on a console like this that rarely goes on sale. The standard Nintendo Switch has its perks, especially the OLED version that just came out, but the Switch Lite remains the better option if you're going to primarily play on the go. You can't connect the Switch Lite to a TV, nor can you remove the Joy-Cons from its sides. But those are small sacrifices to make if you care most about portability.

The 0.6-pound console feels light and comfortable to hold, and the attached controllers actually help it feel quite sturdy. It has a 5.5-inch display that's more than suitable for all kinds of games, but considering it is smaller than that on the standard Switch, you may find yourself squinting to read text. It has 32GB of onboard storage, but like the standard Switch, you can easily expand that with a microSD card. We were also happy to find that the Switch Lite has a battery life of up to seven hours, depending on the types of games you're playing. It's not quite as long as the refreshed, non-OLED Switch, but it's close and should be enough to keep you busy during a long car ride or flight.

As always, we recommend checking out Woot's return policy before you buy. The online retailer is owned by Amazon, and although this is a Prime-exclusive deal, the return policy you may be used to with Prime doesn't apply here as Woot has it's own rules.

Apple's Mac Mini M1 drops back down to an all-time low of $570

If you missed the sale earlier this month, now's your chance to grab Apple's Mac Mini M1 at its best price yet. The compact desktop has returned to a record low of $570, thanks to a discount and a coupon that knocks an additional $80 off the sale price. You'll get the best deal on the 256GB version, but the 512GB model is also cheaper than usual: it's on sale for $799, but an automatically applied coupon will bring the final price down to $750.

Buy Mac Mini M1 (256GB) at Amazon - $570Buy Mac Mini M1 (512GB) at Amazon - $750

The Mac Mini M1 was already the most budget-friendly M1 machine in Apple's lineup, so it's a steal at this sale price. You can expect performance similar to that of the MacBook Air M1, which is to say, speedy and efficient with near instantaneous wake times and even zippy iOS app performance. The Mac Mini M1 has an eight-core CPU, an eight-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine, and both models on sale have 8GB of RAM. If you want to future-proof your machine a bit, consider springing for the extra-storage model. But most people will likely find their needs met by the base, 256GB version.

The small desktop's exterior will look familiar if you've had a Mac Mini in the past. Apple focused its efforts updating the inside, so the outside is mostly unchanged. The compact silver box should be able to fit into even the most cramped desk setups, and it has a number of ports on its back edge, including two Thunderbolt ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI connector, an Ethernet port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. While we're still waiting to hear whether Apple will have a hardware event in March, there's no guarantee an updated Mac Mini will make an appearance at such an event. So if you've been on the hunt for a powerful desktop upgrade, Amazon's latest sale on the Mac Mini M1 is one to consider.

Samsung's 1TB T7 Touch SSD drops to a record low of $140

While the Samsung T7 SSD has been on sale for a week or two, the T7 Touch portable drive has now joined it in being discounted. The palm-sized SSD in 1TB is down to $140, or 26 percent off its normal price. Only the black model is this low — if you really want the silver version, it'll cost you an extra $20 — but now's a good time to grab an extra drive and save $50 at the same time.

Buy Samsung T7 Touch (1TB) at Amazon - $140Buy Samsung T7 Touch (1TB) at Best Buy - $140Buy Samsung T7 Touch (1TB) at B&H - $140

Storage gadgets can get expensive, especially when you want a 1TB or more of digital space, so we always recommend waiting for a sale like this one before buying. Samsung's T7 series has become one of our favorites in the portable SSD space for their pocket-friendly yet durable designs, fast performance and extra features like Dynamic Thermal Guard, AES 256-bit encryption and optional password protection. On top of all that, the Touch model has a built-in fingerprint reader for an extra layer of security.

The T7 Touch comes with both a USB-C to C and a USB-C to A cable, so you can use it with nearly any device you have — smartphone, tablet, laptop, some game consoles and more. If you have a tighter budget, you can still grab the 1TB Samsung T7 — which is identical to the Touch model, with the exception of the fingerprint reader — for $110, which is 35 percent off and the best price we've seen. And if you're looking for an internal SSD that will work with the PS5 you just got your hands on, Samsung's 980 Pro in 2TB is down to an all-time low of $280 right now, too.

Bose's QuietComfort 45 headphones are back on sale for $279

Noise cancelling headphones can make all the difference if you're tired of working in a noisy environment or want your public-transit commute to be a bit more peaceful. Bose's QuietComfort 45 ANC headphones are some of the best out there right now, and they're back down to their Black Friday price on Amazon. You can pick up the cans in either black or white for $279, which is $50 off their normal price.

Buy Bose QuietComfort 45 at Amazon - $279

The QuietComfort lineup has been around for a long time, and Bose essentially took the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" route with the QC45. These wireless headphones look much the same as the previous version — they don't have the slickest design, but they are super comfortable and they have handy onboard controls for playing/pausing music, adjusting volume and switching between ANC and ambient sound mode. They charge via USB-C and have an impressive 22.5-hour battery life, so you can wear them all day long without missing a beat.

The sound quality is what you'd expect from a pair of high-end Bose cans. The QC45 pump out clear and balanced audio, and the active noise cancellation is some of the best we've tried. Bose's ANC was already great to begin with, but the company improved on it here with a "proprietary digital chip" that helps detect and silence more mid-range frequencies.

There are a few downsides to these cans, including their somewhat antiquated design, but more importantly, the QC45 don't have automatic pausing. Also, their multi-device connectivity can be a bit finicky because they don't automatically reconnect to a second device after you take a call. If those features mean a lot to you, you'll want to consider Sony's WH-1000XM4. But otherwise, the QC45 are excellent ANC headphones that are even better when you can get them on sale like this.
