iRobot's Roomba 694 is $94 off at Amazon right now

A robot vacuum can take one chore off your hands, and now you can grab one of iRobot's most affordable machines for less. The Roomba 694 robot vacuum is back down to $180, which is just about an all-time low (we've seen it $1 cheaper in the past). That's $94 off, making it a great deal if you've had your eye on a robo-vac for a while but have been hesitant to drop a lot of money on one.

Buy Roomba 694 at Amazon - $180

The Roomba 694 is one of iRobot's most basic machines, but don't let that fool you. It earned a spot on our list of favorite affordable robot vacuums thanks to its good cleaning power and easy to use companion app. Its three-stage cleaning system and dual multi-surface brushes do a good job sucking up dirt and debris on both carpeted and hard floors, and it has sensors that can detect furniture and "cliffs" (stairs, really) so it can avoid or maneuver around those obstacles.

You can control the robo-vac via its on-device buttons or from within the iRobot mobile app, and when it has finished cleaning your home, it'll automatically return to its charging base to power up. Even if you've never used a robot vacuum before, you'll likely be able to learn the ins and outs of the iRobot mobile app pretty easily. It'll be your portal for doing things like setting cleaning schedules, checking the status of your machine and more. And if you have an Alexa or Google Assistant smart speaker in your home, you can use voice commands to control the Roomba 694.

Most people will find all of their semi-autonomous vacuuming needs met by the Roomba 694, but if you want to splurge, the Roomba j7+ is also on sale right now for $589. That's $210 off its regular rate and a new record low. The j7+ is one of iRobot's newest machines and its first "pet poop-detecting" robot vacuum. It has advanced obstacle avoidance which should allow it to avoid unexpected things on your floors, including a robo-vac's arch nemesis: pet poop. It also comes with a clean base into which the machine will automatically empty its dustbin after each job.

Samsung's Galaxy Buds 2 drop to a new record-low price

Samsung fans looking for a new pair of wireless earbuds can get a couple of the company's latest models for less. Amazon has the Galaxy Buds 2 in graphite and olive at the lowest price we've seen — just $95, which is $55 off their usual rate. If you prefer earbuds with a more power and perks, the Galaxy Buds Pro in phantom violet are also down to a new low of $120, which is $80 off their normal price.

Buy Galaxy Buds 2 at Amazon - $95Buy Galaxy Buds Pro at Amazon - $120

Both of these wireless earbuds came out last year, with the Galaxy Buds 2 being the newer of the two. Samsung brought a number of premium features down to these relatively affordable earbuds, including adjustable ambient sound mode and wireless charging. The Buds 2 are 15 percent smaller and 20 percent lighter than the Galaxy Buds+ that came before them, plus they have much improved sound and an IPX2-rated design. Just keep in mind that the Buds 2 don't have any iOS integration — while you could use them with an iPhone, you'd be stuck with thee default settings. Those with Samsung handsets will get the most out of these buds.

Same goes for the Galaxy Buds Pro, which we dubbed Samsung's best earbuds yet when they first came out. Normally $200, these are the company's direct competitor to the AirPods Pro and they hold their own against Apple's offering. Sound quality is excellent and ANC is strong enough to block out surrounding noises like those from a fan or running dishwasher. The Buds Pro also have an IPX7-rated design and support for 360 Audio and wireless charging. If you're on a tight budget, we recommend opting for the Galaxy Buds 2, but if you can spend a bit more, you'll appreciate the extra perks that come with the Galaxy Buds Pro.

Google's Nest Learning Thermostat is back on sale for $199

Outfitting your home with smart devices can get expensive quickly, but now you can grab some Google Nest devices for less. The Nest Learning Thermostat is $50 off at Wellbots when you use the code ENGDT50 at checkout, so you'll get it for $199. That's close to the device's record-low price and a decent discount on Google's most capable smart thermostat. You can also pick up the battery-powered Nest Doorbell for $130 using the same code to knock $50 off its usual price, or the wired version for $149 with the code ENGDT80 at checkout, which will discount it by $80.

Buy Nest Learning Thermostat at Wellbots - $199Buy Nest Doorbell (battery) at Wellbots - $130Buy Nest Doorbell (wired) at Wellbots - $149

A smart thermostat is a good way to keep track of how you use energy in your home and hopefully save money in the long run. Google's Energy Star-certified device learns your preferences over time and will build an energy schedule around your routines. It'll learn how warm or cool you like to keep your home so it can automatically adjust temperatures depending on the time of day or even when you're home or away. You could leave the Learning Thermostat to do its thing, or you can customize temperatures, schedules and more using the Nest mobile app.

The Nest Learning Thermostat also has a few extra perks that the standard thermostat does not have. It has a sleeker design with metal details and a high-res display, plus it works with Nest Temperature Sensors that let you adjust the climate in your home on a room-by-room basis.

Google's smart doorbells do exactly what you think: let you see who's at your front door before you answer it. The device can send you alerts when you have visitors and you can chat with them from the companion smartphone app and the device's built-in mic and speakers. These gadgets also have "intelligent alerts," which just means they'll be able to differentiate when you have a visitor, a delivered package or an animal sighting outside your home. You can either opt for the hardwired version or the battery-operated model, the latter of which runs on a rechargeable battery that should last up to six months before it need more juice.

Sonos’ refurbished sale includes $180 off the Arc soundbar

It's easy to drop a lot of money on a sound system for your home, especially if you want to go all in on Sonos devices. But you can save a significant amount by going the refurbished route, and now Sonos has a bunch of refurbished speakers and soundbars on sale. Key among them is the Arc soundbar — the refurbished version is $180 cheaper than a new model, bringing it down to $719. You'll also save $110 on a refurbished Sonos Five, paying $439 for one instead of $549 for a new unit. If you want to start off with something more basic, both the refurbished Sonos One and One SL are under $200.

Shop Sonos refurbished saleBuy Arc (refurbished) at Sonos - $719Buy Five (refurbished) at Sonos - $439

Buying refurbished can be tricky business, but Sonos' program tests every device to ensure it's as good as new. These gadgets come with all of the necessary accessories, manuals and replacement parts as well as the same one-year warranty as the company's brand new products. If you're set on outfitting your home with Sonos speakers but want to do so on a budget, opting for a few refurbished devices is a good way to get the system you want.

Unsurprisingly, the deepest discounts in Sonos' sale are on its higher-end products. The Arc soundbar earned a score of 85 from us when it first came out thanks to its excellent sound quality, Dolby Atmos support and modern design. It was a much needed update to the Playbar that came before it, and we appreciated its touch controls, Alexa and Google Assistant support and AirPlay 2 compatibility. Aside from its scant port selection (it only has an HDMI port, an Ethernet jack and a power port), our biggest complaint was that expansion gets expensive quickly. Adding a brand new Sonos Sub alone will set you back $749 (although the refurbished models cost only $599), and each new Sonos One speaker costs $219.

The Sonos Five remains one of our favorite music-focused speakers. It also has stellar sound quality and we appreciate its simple setup process and the fact that it can be easily added to an existing Sonos setup. There's no Bluetooth connectivity, but it has a 3.5mm audio jack for a hardwired connection and it supports WiFi, AirPlay 2 and Alexa and Google Assistant commands.

Eero 6 mesh WiFi systems drop back down to record-low prices

Those looking to upgrade their home WiFi can often do so by investing in a more capable router. Now, you can pick up Amazon's Eero 6 mesh WiFi system at some of the best prices we've seen. A single Eero 6 router costs $71 at the moment, which is 20 percent off and the cheapest we've seen it. A pack with one router and two extenders will set you back $159, while a bundle of three Eero 6 routers is down to $199.

Buy Eero 6 router at Amazon - $71Buy Eero 6 (router + 2 extenders) at Amazon - $159Buy Eero 6 (3 routers) at Amazon - $199

As the name suggests, this system supports WiFi 6 and one Eero 6 router will cover up to 1,500 square feet. That's enough to cover a decently sized apartment, and you can spring for one of the multipacks if you live in a larger home. The dual-band system supports speeds up to 900Mbps and more than 75 connected devices. If you absolutely must have a Gigabit-capable router, you'll have to opt for the more expensive Eero Pro 6 system instead.

You'll also get a built-in Zigbee smart home hub with the Eero 6 system, which means you can skip buying a dedicated hub and connect IoT devices like smart lights, plus, locks and more directly to the router. You'll be able to more easily control the smart home devices you already have (especially the ones that support Alexa voice commands) and it'll be much easier for those who don't have a smart home ecosystem yet to build theirs from scratch thanks to the built-in home hub.

iRobot's Roomba j7+ and s9+ robot vacuums are $200 off for Memorial Day

Memorial Day weekend has brought back some of the best prices we've seen on Roomba robot vacuums. You can pick up the Roomba j7+ and the Roomba s9+ for $599 and $799, respectively, when using the code ENDGT200 at Wellbots. Both of those models come with clean bases, but if you think you can safely skip that extra piece of hardware, you can pick up the Roomba j7 for $399 instead using the same code.

Buy Roomba j7+ at Wellbots - $599Buy Roomba s9+ at Wellbots - $799Buy Roomba j7 at Wellbots - $399

The Roomba j7 series has some of iRobot's newest machines in it. The line debuted at the end of 2021 and the robot vacuums come with new AI-driven computer vision technology that helps them better detect objects and clean around them. The company has focused on this in the context of pet poop, claiming the j7 machines are its first "pet-poop detecting" robots. Ultimately, that means that your fancy new robot vacuum should be able to avoid any accidents your pets have on the living room floor while cleaning your home.

Along with those smarts, the Roomba j7 has 10x the suction power of a standard Roomba, plus dual multi-surface brushes, smart home mapping and more. If you spring for the j7+, you'll also get a clean base into which the robot automatically empties its dustbin after every job. That means you'll only have to empty the clean base once every month or so, depending on how often your robot cleans.

Similarly to the Roomba j7 series, the Roomba s9+ made it into our best robot vacuums guide as a splurge pick. Normally costing $1,000, the s9+ is a premium dirt sucker that does more than most people need. But it's an excellent vacuum with 40x the suction power of a regular Roomba, plus a 3D sensor for object detection and a corner-friendly design. If vacuuming is one of our least favorite chores and you want a robot that will almost ensure you'll never have to do it manually again, the s9+ could be a good investment.

It also supports faster charging — we were able to get 10 percent juice after 10 minutes of charging, and the Watch was fully powered up in less than one hour.

Otherwise, the Series 7 is much the same as the Series 6. It has an always-on display, a built-in GPS, ECG and blood oxygen measurement capabilities, fall detection, support for dozens of trackable workouts and more. Our biggest complaint with the latest model in particular is its lackluster sleep tracking abilities — you'll only be able to track how long you slept with the native watchOS feature, which is much less information than you'd get if you used a Fitbit or a Garmin device to do the same thing. But if that's not much of a concern for you, it's hard to beat the Apple Watch for iPhone users who are set on getting a wearable.

Ooni pizza ovens are 20 percent off for Memorial Day

If you're looking to up your homemade pizza game, investing in an Ooni oven is a good way to do so. We've recommended them in numerous outdoor guides and now you can pick one up for 20 percent off. Ooni's Memorial Day sale has discounted all of its pizza ovens, bringing the most affordable of the bunch, the Ooni Fyra 12, down to $280. The newest version, the Karu 16, is nearly $160 off and down to $640.

Chances are you've seen social media posts recently of people removing delicious-looking, bubbling pizzas from one of these Ooni ovens. We've found them to be easy to use and pretty consistent in making restaurant-quality pizzas at home. The Ooni Fyra uses wood pellets to heat up to 950 degrees, so you can cook stone-baked pizzas in as little as one minute. The "12" in its name indicates its size, so this one's best for making smaller, personal pizzas. We also appreciate that the Fyra is fairly portable — it weighs 22 pounds and has foldable legs along with a detachable chimney, so you can store the various parts of the machine inside the oven while you transport it.

The Karu 16 is best for those that want the latest tech from Ooni, or those that prefer to make larger pies. One of the key features of the Karu 16 is its multiple fuel support, so you can choose to cook with wood or charcoal, or even go the gas route if you buy the appropriate gas burner attachment. Unlike the Fyra, the Karu 16 has a clear glass door so you can keep an eye on your pizza as it cooks. There's also a mounted digital thermometer to help you better keep track of the machine's temperature. These ovens are still expensive outdoor machines even during this Memorial Day sale, but pizza lovers will want to grab one now while you can get them for much less then usual.
